We have a colorful selection of mini tufts made from realistic blends of 2mm static grass. Excellent for creating unique ground cover and as a tool in your landscaping material arsenal.

Small tufts solve a scale problem. On a 25mm base, or on any model whose feet sit close to the ground, a 6mm tuft stands taller than the terrain it’s meant to suggest and pulls the eye off the miniature. At 2mm the grass reads as ground cover rather than as an object sitting on the base. The same applies to N gauge railway layouts and small-scale dioramas, where full-height static grass overwhelms the scene.

Every mini tuft is irregularly shaped, so no two repeat across a squad, and each pack contains over 200 tufts. Use them as the primary ground cover on smaller bases, or alongside our 6mm grass tufts on larger ones to build depth — short growth in the open, taller growth against rocks and edges. They’re made from the same blends as our loose 2mm static grass, so the two match exactly.
