Miniature Basing Tufts

How our tufts differ

The range varies along two axes: fiber length and tuft shape. Mini Tufts use 2mm fiber; every other range, flowers included, uses 6mm. Shape is either circular — uniform round patches — or irregular, with a wild uneven outline that blends into surrounding groundwork rather than sitting on top of it. Static Grass Tufts are our only circular-only range, and each pack contains two sizes – small and large. Overgrown Tufts are irregular throughout, Debris Tufts are irregular with natural debris worked through the fiber, and Flower Tufts come in both shapes.

Every tuft is self-adhesive and simple to apply — pluck and place with tweezers, add a dab of glue for permanence, or press into wet texture paste before it sets. They suit roughly 6mm to 40mm miniatures as well as HO and N gauge railway work. All colors are hand-blended in Ohio to match our house-dyed loose static grass, so tufts and flock can be mixed on the same base.
