Arctic Crackle Paste, obtain an aesthetic crackle for tundra and permafrost effects.
Each of our crackle pastes uses a unique recipe in order to best recreate specific aspects of our natural environments. Use on your miniature base or terrain feature directly from the container.
For best results, apply in an even 1-3mm layer using a small palette knife and allow to air dry. Crackle will begin forming in up to 12 hours. Allow up to 3 days for full crackle depth to form. To speed up cracking, you can apply a layer of PVA school/craft glue and let dry before applying the crackle paste. Keep the lid sealed tight when not in use.
Our Arctic crackle paste goes well with Blaster Blue fluorescent paint as an underbase, as seen pictured.
